Initially stung by making less than perfect career choices in areas such as banking and sales, Sanjib finally said “yes” to advertising 20 years back. His approach to brand solutions is rooted in his keen interest in people, cultures and consumer behavior and helped him engineer several brand turnarounds while at agencies like Enterprise, Everest, Grey, Lowe Lintas and Saatchi & Saatchi. His interest in creativity and brand solutions endures, and his excitement hasn’t mellowed a bit even when posed with challenges. That’s how he has helped craft may success stories for brands in many categories - consumer durables, telecoms, food and beverages and information technology.
Besides a ceaseless quest to learn with young untrained minds, Sanjib has taken up an added responsibility of being a mentor at Sri Aurobindo Center for Arts & Communication, a multi-disciplinary mass communication and media arts institute in New Delhi. No wonder, he strongly feels that young minds are a minefield of talent and in their company he always feels like he is just 18.
