Nobukazu with more than 45 years of experience at ADEX manages the agency guided by Shikon Shosai (士魂商才 - having a samurai's spirit and a merchant's business sense). Under his leadership, the agency conducts business always taking into consideration that communication should aim for social good and making a better world.
He firmly believes practitioners in an industry such as advertising that uses mass media to greatly influence the public must carefully consider the messages they disseminate and not aim solely for profit if it is at the expense of the community.
In addition to his role at ADEX, he has also been appointed to the board of directors of several advertising-related associations including the Japan Advertising Agencies Association, Japan Advertisement Employees’ Pension Fund among others. He was the recipient of the prestigious Yoshida Hideo Memorial Award in 1998.
